Anne, the original and the color
Choosing to do Anne Frank was obvious -- and here's the diarist herself, in a tinted sort-of color. As a tribute to her and her family, I decided to make this one my first colorized image, because she's so adorable and deserves to be honored in full color! Unfortunately, it sort of looks like oil pastel and not as realistic because the picture itself was very painting-like, even before colorization. I had to guess about the room color, and I assume her dress was black, considering how deep a shade it was before. And we can't forget those rosy cheeks! She was such a cutie.
It's truly incredible to think that this girl now has admirers from all over the world. We'll never forget you.
